Ugly
I can feel the weight crushing me
Swine heart
Of gold
Of blood
Of cum
Do y ou see me turning blue?
Lifeless eyes miserable in front of you
Each step I take
Is too much to bear
Swine heart, pump dirt into me
Of gold
Of blood
Of cum
no one
will mourn my rotten corpse
"The patriarchy is a judge
who judges us by birth
and our punishment
is the violence you can see.
It is femicide.
Impunity for my killer.
It is disappearance.
It is rape.
And it was not my fault, not the place where I was nor the dress that I chose!
And it was not my fault, not the place where I was nor the dress that I chose!
And it was not my fault, not the place where I was nor the dress that I chose!
The rapist are you!
The rapist are you!
It’s the cops!
The judges!
The state!
The president!"
On Monday, Nov 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, feminist collective LasTesis from Valparaiso took the streets in the center of Santiago de Chile and showed a stunning performance in front of the Ministry of Women's Rights and Gender Equality.
The powerful statement against sexual assault of women by men can be seen as an allegory of the accusation of the suppressive Chilean state, whose police and military forces have killed, tortured and violated numerous protesters as well as innocent bystanders during the biggest civil protests since the end of the military dictatorship in 1989.
